お安いウイスキーが好物ですが、なかなかの逸材であるハイランドクイーン シェリーカスクフィニッシュを購入しました。

On the nose there are the sweet spicy notes of the sherry, mixed with hints of fresh barley and marzipan.
In the mouth the whisky is silky smooth, with the sweetness of the sherry combining perfectly with the smoothness of the oak, and subtle hints of smoke.
The finish is long and smooth.

感想
色は赤みがかった琥珀色。
香りはシェリー由来の甘く豊かな香りがします。
口に含むとレーズンのような甘みが広がり、少し時間差でウッディさに移行し、奥にはスパイシーさも感じられます。
長めの余韻と、ラストまで流れるように変わる味わいが印象的です。
これが近所のスーパーで\1,000前後で買えるというのは驚きでしたねー。
こんな安いなら買いだめしちゃいそうなボトルでございました。
